Experience Camps for Grieving Children

I had the chance to volunteer as a clinician at the Southeast United States Experience Camp. It was one of the most fulfilling opportunities I have ever had. There are now 4 camps across the US and hopes to continue to expand. This is a one week, free camp, for children in 4th grade and above who have lost a parent, sibling or primary caregiver. This one week program gives children and adolescents  the chance to see they are not alone and other people "get it" while also being immersed in a fun, active camp experience.
