Jaclyn Tureff, LCSW
After completing my education at Wurzweiler School of Social Work in NYC, I worked at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx. There, I managed social work issues for a large ICU population. I became comfortable with patient and family concerns . This included the response to severe trauma, illness, conflict and loss. It led me to my most recent role in supporting and educating school age children with psycho-social issues. These include children with anxiety, family conflicts, and social concerns.
I am patient, open-minded, and empathetic to my client's needs. I ensure my client's feel they are in a safe, warm and comfortable environment. This assists the individual in gaining insight, self-understanding and feelings of emotional support. Utilizing a personalized approach, I integrate strategies and skills, based on problems presented.
I work with people of all ages and various cultural backgrounds.
